It's Simple.
- Our soap is made from simple ingredients: vegetable oil, water, and lye.
- We add a little essential oil or fragrance for a nice smell, but not too much.
- We often mix two, sometimes three, to give an interesting scent.
- We are sure that you will enjoy your soap. We don't put in weird chemicals.
- We do not remove the glycerin, so your skin will stay nice and soft, even if you need to wash often.
- If you have short hair, you might like it better than shampoo.
It's hand made.
Each batch is small, usually four dozen bars at a time.
We weigh the oil, water, and lye on electronic scales and
mix them carefully to get the best possible soap.
It's eco friendly.
The oil is actually recycled. It starts out cooking food at local restaurants. The oil slowly picks up a "fryer flavor" and it is changed out before it affects the food taste. The oil is still good, just not for the best restaurant food. We pick up the oil, let it settle, and remove the food particles. Then we filter it down to 25 microns to make it clear and clean. At this point, we have vegetable oil that is ready to become soap.
This is oil that used to be thrown in the trash, and by using our soap, you are giving it another chance to be useful. Thank you for helping out.
Our water is purified with reverse osmosis, and our lye (sodium hydroxide) is food grade.

When most everything comes from a big box store, it is not easy to shop for a gift that is not stamped out by the millions. "Just the thing I need... How nice..."
Even one bar of hand crafted soap can be a memorable gift and you can tell the story about where you found it, the people you met, and how you chose that particular scent.
For family occasions or office parties, bring a basket of homemade soap and watch them smell the different scents and pick their favorite ones. That will be more interesting than bringing a box of donuts.

We want you to be happy with your soap.
But if for any reason, you are not happy, we want to make it right. You won't need a receipt. Just return the label and the bar to any of our merchants for replacement or refund. If you buy our soap on eBay, just send a message and we will take care of you.
If there is a specific complaint, we would really like to know about that too. We take pride in our soap, but we are not so proud that we can ignore our customers.
Our work is a process. It starts with recycling vegetable oil and ends with your satisfaction. Thank you for helping!
